In the Keywords submission guide at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/keywords/GXQ22G5Y72TH8MJ5#, there is a guideline which I believe is incorrect, or at least misguided: Unacceptable keywords ... I am starting a new thread to conclude the lengthy discussion in a prior thread regarding a list of proposed keyword mergers. This time I am marking the post as a "problem" instead of an "idea," which will hopefully trigger action by staff. The following duplicate keywords are proposed for permanent

Creepy sexual keywords
I watched Trog tonight, and I noticed these keywords pop up: "Girl in Mary Jane Shoes" "Knee Socks" "Girl In A Notably Short Outfit" "Girl In Very Short Dress Or Skirt" These are all referring to a child. The child's clothes are completely irrelevant to the plot (and her skirt isn't meant to be "ver

IMDb staff - Genre Keywords to Delete and Block
Dear @Michelle, The keywords in this list all should be deleted and blocked from IMDb. They are all de facto genre keywords, which are not allowed under the keywords guidelines. @timothy_gray_el34lojg1aih1 Style/genre keywords are necessary as a fail-safe, but ultimately, I still think it would be easier to use if they were kept to the side where users wouldn't have to sift through a lot of other keywords to see them
Error with adding subgenre keyword "kids-family"
One of the official subgenre keywords recently added is "kids-family", for family movies specifically aimed at kids. However, when trying to add this keyword to a title, a strange error occurs. The keyword is automatically rejected as "not valid" due to being "too subjective". To check and see if I

@Skavau Well, this is another specific criticism of a subgenre keyword. The subgenre keywords have been the subject of a lot of complaints. Just search on this forum for "subgenre keywords": https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/searc

Perhaps some of the following IMDb keywords should be merged. I could use some help from the community with your thoughts. Should any of these keywords be merged? Keywords "automatically fixed" per IMDb rules?
I just tried to add the keyword "coronavirus-pandemic" to a TV episode, and it was automatically changed to "covid-19."This is the first time that I've seen this, but it seems like a good way to help reduce keyword sprawl and the need to merge keywords. Is this new, and are there other keywords that

IMDb staff: Please delete and block these keywords. First is an oddly formatted keyword exclusive to wrestling titles: bruises-and-bruises (145 titles) Next are a few random keywords that will apply to the vast majority (I would guess at least 90%) of titles, so it makes little sense to allow these
