Please reinstate easy deletion of keywords that contain main-genre suffixes (e.g. vietnam-war, environmental-crime, interspecies-romance)

Keywords "automatically fixed" per IMDb rules?

I just tried to add the keyword "coronavirus-pandemic" to a TV episode, and it was automatically changed to "covid-19."This is the first time that I've seen this, but it seems like a good way to help reduce keyword sprawl and the need to merge keywords. Is this new, and are there other keywords that

The issue with this keyword is definitely caused by the fact that it ends in the suffix "-music." IMDb's automated system for accepting and rejecting most keywords disfavors keywords that end in genre suffixes, unless the keywords are listed on the "

Why is “western-music” being deleted as a keyword?

For some reason, “western-music” is being deleted a a keyword. It is a valid keyword, and even possibly a yet unacknowledged Music subgenre.  It DOES NOT just mean “music used in a Western title.”  Here’s the Wikipedia definition: Western music is a form of country music composed by an

C'mon, (C'mon) IMDb, what are you thinking re genres, subgenres and keywords?

When it comes to genres, subgenres and keywords, why is IMDb being so illogical, even defying its own guidelines and encouraging unnecessary, cluttering repetition? It makes no sense. KEYWORDS SHOULD NOT REPEAT GENRES BY COMBINING THEM. “war-romance,” simply (and obviously), combines two genr

IMDb Staff: Please delete and block these improper keywords ("bruises-and-bruises," "protagonist," "people," "issue," etc.)

IMDb staff: Please delete and block these keywords. First is an oddly formatted keyword exclusive to wrestling titles: bruises-and-bruises (145 titles) Next are a few random keywords that will apply to the vast majority (I would guess at least 90%) of titles, so it makes little sense

Can a staffer delete and block the following keywords please? They are already genres (and not sub-genres) and should therefore not be listed in the keywords section. https://m.imdb.com/search/title/?keywords=adventure-series&explore=keywords https://m.imdb.com/search/title/?keywords=animation-s
