Duplicate event: Raindance Film Festival
Someone added Raindance Film Festival to events as errorneous (since years should not be mentioned) "Raindance Film Festival 2022". At the same time festival already has a page and year 2022 on it. Although it should be noted that "Raindance Film Festival 2022" has a more current official websit

extraneous episodes for Instinct (2018-2019)
The episode list for Instinct (2018–2019) has 6 extraneous episodes listed on the Unknown season. They are all duplicates of Season 1 episodes; one has a release date that is off by 1 day from its mate. Surely these should be deleted/merged. I don't want to do the labor. Can an IMDb staffer knock

discouraging contributions
I'm going to use my experience this week with my contribution #220320-071011-362000 (where I was correcting someone's mistake posting an opera title) to discuss some systemic problems. I submitted a credit deletion request along with other items (adding the correct video director and the music di

Contributions rejected twice, despite proof links
In the first case I've updated (#211026-022113-719000) The Thing (1982) with six additional "Other crew" listings for a photographic cameos shot specifically for the movie, as confirmed by a blog post written by film's co-producer, with extensive illustrations. Five went through with no problem, but

Seen list for an actor has fewer titles than their filmography
This list has 292 titles: https://www.imdb.com/seen/nm0004730/ while this list has 1452 titles: https://www.imdb.com/filmosearch/?sort=year&explore=title_type&role=nm0004730 I think that an episode (maybe any title type) doesn't appear on the Seen list without a release date. Seems li

In #240702-002817-087000 four items were declined, despite a proof link was submitted. To be fair, the proof is from a Counter-Strike Wiki which anyone could edit but I've specified, that it collates years upon years of references on the subject, more than confirming all four points (date of birth,

Waiting with Huell (2019) - several items declined
I have several items declined for Waiting with Huell (2019) despite providing a proof link (sometimes two): Despite live-action scenes of the title take around 7 minutes, full runtime is indeed 62 hours or 3720 minutes, as mentioned in multiple articles such as this one. Rather unique for a spec

Incorrect "Short" genre in Wavelength (1967)
Wavelength (1967) is exactly 45 minutes which constitutes a minimum for a feature film. While there are readily available bootleg versions which last 43 minutes they are this way because of a poor VHS transfer, 45 minutes is the official runtime specified in most reliable sources (eg. Viennale, Art

Ongoing commercial series
I have noticed that rules about adding commercials are neglected in one specific aspect, that aspect being that ongoing commercial series added as TV series rather than singular direct-to-video titles as it should be for commercials. Just a few examples I've noticed: "Calvin Klein: Obsession" (1990

Martin Scorsese's appearance in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974)
Martin Scorsese's cameo in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) is rather well publicized and really visible if you know where to look. However my attempt at adding this to his filmography (#230402-180302-756000) bounced back with "Unable to Verify", despite the attached prooflinks.

Web-series inexplicably shifted to 'Self' filmographies despite not being a documentary
"The Angry Video Game Nerd" (2004-) is not in a documentary web-series: while one episode indeed has making-of segment it was a one-off case which should not logically affect whole series. And yet, inexplicably, it just shifted to 'Self' filmograhies instead of 'Cast' for all cast, despite not eve

Declined edits on Tales from the Crapper (2004)
For years Tales from the Crapper (2004) correctly listed an uncredited cameo by Wes Craven, which is also specified in trivia items. However, when someone deleted it for no rhyme or reason (I imagine because it's a 'low' title and they don't want to see it in a high-profile filmography; which is mys

Languages options missing: Babylonian, Akkadian.
Eternals (2021) happens to use Babylonian language which is right now absent as an option. Akkadian could have been a substitute, because Babylonian is sometimes considered a subtype, but neither is in the available option on IMDb. I happen to research both languages for inclusion in my own director

Since when single covers became eligible as primary images for music videos?
For quite some time single covers were actually ineligible as primary images for music videos according to IMDb guidelines. I remember a lengthy discussion I've participated in, where it was clearly stated that such cases should be corrected overtime. So ocassionally, I did. Today I've discovered
