Live Poll: Face-Off: 'Oppenheimer' vs. 'Killers of the Flower Moon'

In 2023 there are two directors Christopher Nolan and Martin Scorsese, who have released their films both of which each received excellent Metascore. Objectively! Which of these two biggest films do you think is the most superior cinematic masterpiece? Live Poll: Here We Go List: http://www.imdb.com

Of the ones I've seen, "Oppenheimer" held my interest the most. While "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "The Holdovers" held my interest, I found "Oppenheimer" to be the best. "Barbie" wasn't my cup of tea, but I'll probably see it again someday. "Poo

JFF: What Was the Last Film You Saw, and How Would You Rate It? (Pt. 20)

Simply a follow up to MyCatDuffyTookMyLaptop's great post. Possible notification glitches aside, the thread is long in tooth. We could use a new volume for this long running tradition. So? What was the last film (feature or short), TV series (full or miniseries), etc... you consumed?

Indeed, the focus wasn't on Lily Gladstone's character or any of the Osage for that matter. It really just felt like a sequence of assassinations with some interesting and uninteresting fluff in between, until the federal agents came into the picture

Live Poll: Favorite Gene Hackman Movie

There's no specific word to describe the talent of Gene Hackman, he could be intimidating and funny, authoritarian and easy-going, evil and goofy, suave and scary... he wasn't a man of contradictions or a man of thousand faces but he had quite a presence, he was a natural and he's still... one "hack

Just a few days ago, I found out about Harris Yulin (b. 5th of November, 1937; d. 10th of June, 2025). We all remember him from Brian De Palma's "Scarface", starring Al Pacino, right? He also had brief important parts to play in "Ghostbusters 2" and
