Live Poll: RKO Pictures

Hello, poll forum, another idea for your consideration, feedback welcome, thank you.

RKO Pictures was an American film production and distribution company.

In its origin, as RKO Radio Pictures (a subsidiary of Radio-Keith-Orpheum) it was one of the Big Five studios of Hollywood's Golden Age.

RKO has long been renowned for its cycle of musicals starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in the 1930s.

The famous industrialist Howard Hughes took over RKO in 1948.

Which RKO movie — that you by any chance have not watched yet — would you have the interest to know?

So many great choices in  a short list, but I'll have to go with It's A Wonderful Life

@mariojacobs ,

Your question would probably make more sense if you include the word most.

Please consider changing:

Which RKO movie — that you by any chance have not watched yet — would you have the interest to know?

To:

Which RKO movie — that you by any chance have not watched yet — would most you have the interest to know?

@dan_dassow ok, done,

now thinking about it, how about simplifying the question to:

Which is your favorite RKO movie???

I don't know why I wrote the question in a so complex way...

 — that you by any chance have not watched yet —

Sometimes less is more.

@mariojacobs now I remember: these movies are old, young poll takers have not watched them.

@Jessica

would you most have the interest to know?

That is what I intended to write. I can't believe that I wrote "most you" instead.

I have seen 10 films in the list. From the other 16  The Thing from Another World would be my first priority.

FYC:

Little Women (Best Picture nominee and box office success)

Morning Glory (Best Actress Winner)

Bringing Up Baby (considered one of the best comedies in history and former top250 entry.)

Of Human Bondage (Earlier Bette Davis success)

The Informer (Best Actor winner)

She Wore a Yellow Ribbon

Cat People (One of the most influential Horror film)

Out of the Past (One of the best rated film at the IMDb)

Stage Door (Oscar nominee)

@Pencho15

thank you 👍I included and sorted these titles by ratings.

I am one of the biggest fans of the 1982 John Carpenter's The Thing and I am very happy about the 2011 remake (what is unusual).

Last year or the year before I watched the 1951 original and I must confess that I didn't like it. I tried my best to like it, but it is just too old. I am sure that for the 1951 viewer it must have been an amazing experience to watch it and be horrified by it.

By the way, Cimarron rated only 5.9? I thought it was a classic. I haven't watched it yet...

@mariojacobs I did saw Cimarron, I don't think it was that bad, altought a little dated, but I understand it is not well liked due to a black character that by our modern standards is considered an insulting image, so that may explain the low ratings.
