Live Poll: Most Evil Horror Clowns

Intro:

In September 2019 the second Part of the movie 'It' was released. Mostly every horror movie fan knows about Pennywise, but despite this iconic horror clown, there are some other bad weirdos with painted or masked faces. They all have one thing in common: Their show won't be suitable for your kid's birthday party. Even the Joker would sneer at them.

Which of these strange and cruel make-up smudged honks is (or at least looks) the most evil? You can also feel free to pick the negating option.

Discuss here.

Rules for suggestions:

No tv-series, no movies rated below 5/10, no animated or documentary movies.
If you suggest, please link the best available image from IMDb and describe the clown like in my examples in the list.

BTW, you can try something, if you like: You can add links to all of your live polls on you IMDb profile page.  That way when people visit, they can see your polls!  Just wanted to pass it on.

Hi Breu, I do not know if you are accepting television series for your survey but every time they talk about scary clowns on the screen, the clowns of the seventh season of AHS come to mind immediately (If you let me say so I think it is the best season of this serie)

Hi Joe. I put it on the list instantly, when you give me the description of these clowns. What is their background or short vita? You can see the examples in the list. There is so less material, that episodes of tv-series are ok for me. I'm sorry, but I don't know about these clowns, even though I saw a few episodes of this series.

I think it's the best image I could get from "Triple Dick" who is the main clown. You probably want to use this line for he;
Leader of a cult of murderous clowns looking to instill fear and dominate the world by promoting their political ideals.

Thank you, Joe. Is there an alternate character link for his name. I can't find any in the page of this episode. If not, it's not bad. So he isn't linked. Btw. Sorry, I forgot to link your profile in your suggestion of the last space poll, which went online. My bad.

Your text is pretty good, but what are honks?

I always understud it as a mixed word of hunk and horn. In Germany we call another person a honk, if he did something very stupid. It's not useable for women. Just dumb guys. I used it becaus Clowns do intentionally stupid things to make people laugh and some of them use horns, too to underline their sketch.

P.S.: I didn't intend to say that the Horn Honks are stupid. I don't know them, but the video seems funny. :D

In English it is used about a sound, not a person.

@Peter_pbn

dgranger is right. the honks I used was related to the noses which honk when they are pressed. It's a running gag I wasn't abel to explain properly. Sorry for that. Maybe I should overwork some of my older polls, that were created when my vocabulary was very more limited. ;)

So the question is: Should I still re-formulate it?

I got a scary clown you definitely don’t want invite to your Halloween party. Do you remember what costume Michael Myers age 6 was wearing at the beginning of “Halloween” (1978)?  Yup, you are guessing right! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077651/mediaviewer/rm1396331264/?ft0=name&fv0=nm0761934&ft1=image_type&fv1=still_frame

ps. In America, if you sneeze a clown’s nose, it honks or the clown will squeeze the end of bulb horn. It is classic joke.

(sorry, I had to update the post for a spelling mistake.)

Please correct

#1: Drunk, dumb and dead since a child's birthday on which he stumbled and stabbed himself to death. His resurrection was the birth of an evil humor revenge clown.

#7: He was a circus clown and began dating a girl named Tracy. By an intrigue he was almost beaten to death, but survived.

#9: people's lives

Breumaster, do the changes Jessica suggested! After two years, this is finally going live.
Anyway, it is relevant today in a kind of crazy connection sort of way. Micheal Myers was a clown for Halloween in the orginnal film and now “Halloween Kills” is out today. Just list “Evil Kid Clowns: Micheal Myers, at age 6, was dressed as a clown for Halloween at the beginning of “Halloween” (1976)”

Yo, I've made it a little more tightly structured. Is it ok like this?

Also corrected the text in option #8 & #9. Because of putting Michael Myers also on the list, Robin Williams moved one number hight (#10). Are there any more suggestions about clowns I should put on the list?

@Breumaster it is great as it is.  I like it.
I think I can give an answer on how this got noticed again. I was thinking about of a poll on “Who the Best Looking as a Clown?” When I checked to see if anyone did a poll on clowns when I came across yours. And since I was going to include Tim Curry as penny wise (before the blood flows, he is good looking as a clown), the time of year is near Halloween, and I do have that film, and I am playing a scary and intense VR game (Jurassic World: Aftermath: Part 1 & 2) , it just all came together.

I would suggest on thing however. Since you have mentioned Pennywise in the introduction, put him on the list also.

@dgranger

Thank you for noticing my old idea.  Nice. :)

I understand your intention. Indeed I feel that Tim Curry was the better Pennywise, even though Bill Skarsgård seems to give Pennywise a even more insane note. But that is also what Pennywise is about. He personifies the fear and insanity of the humankind, the part no one want's to see. And I think Stephen King's most stories are exactly about that. While the clowns that are shown here are not symbolic personifications of the fear of humankind. So Pennywise is to big for the lowdown sc*m we see, when we look at these other "clowns". These not healthy, nasty, .... I don't want to insult the word "freak" again. Call them weirdos. Freaks are mostly positive for me. But these clowns are really lowdown bada**es. I want to say that the story of Pennywise is made to spend hope for the club of losers out there in the world, because they're "normal", they are mentally sane. But many people are following the "bad clown", insanity, fear, desperation. For me that's the core of the story. That's what it is about. The other stories of that clowns are just for entertainment, Helloween fun for fearing a little bit. They are guys, which are affected by their own "inner clown", their personal Pennywise. That's why I left out Pennywise. I think he shouldn't be on the list. And also because all of the "losers" and "freaks" would vote for him. Resulting in one long bar and several small bars. So sadly I have to say no to your legit question. It would cross the idea and spoil the results. I hope that satisfies you. Greets.

FYC: All Hallows' Eve (2013) with 5.1 it barely covers your criteria but it is still in.

A maniacal clown murdering in stories featured in a VHS tape slowly works his way into reality.

The Night Watchmen (2017) - with Blimpo

Balada triste de trompeta (2010) with Carlos Areces, the sad clown who is not funny and takes constant abuse from the happy clown until he becomes crazy and fights for the love of a trapeze artist.

Circus of the Dead (2014) - Sadistic clowns that kidnap a father and his daughter.

The Clown at Midnight (1998) Seven teenagers are stalked by a murderous clown

Killjoy's Psycho Circus (2016) - Killjoy is a killer clown and a demon of vengeance

@Breumaster  I guess its fine. I haven't seen the film and found about it with keyword research, but it does fit the plot so it looks accurate.

@dan_dassow I just found out. It is a part of one of the DC all access emoji packs. I’m considering the Suicide Squad pack where they are all skulls versions of the major characters in that film. Joker is included.
But here is one already free on your computer - the playing card joker. 🃏. Hmm, just found this one too. The nesting Russian doll. 🪆
