I've noticed a lot of weird stuff going on with the polls just in the past week or two, like the person who is making them is drunk or high, or they're using some crappy AI software.

I agree with Maxence. Please replace Richard Ramirez with someone else.

There is more than one poll author, and on every poll, the author's IMDb member handle is displayed (as a hyperlink to his/her member profile) if the author's account hasn't been closed down. Some authors to follow a sort of set of themes, e.g. GabrielFox often makes IMDb poll-suitable lists in which every item (poll option) is a movie poster (or likewise for television series that have 2:3 box art). I don't believe any of the poll makers thus far relies heavily upon any machine learning to assist them in creating polls, but I don't know. Some people use large language model software in every little thing that they write for public consumption or private correspondence. In theory, software like that would produce much better results than simple scripts or macros created by software operators who have no knowledge of how to implement machine learning.

Really inappropriate. I have my doubts about the people making these polls.

I agree. I made last minute changes to the poll prior to the poll going live and missed this horrendous blunder.
