Gale Gordon played Osgood Conklin in "Our Miss Brooks" in the 40's and 50's. Gordon is probably more widely recognized from The Lucy Show and as the second Mr. Wilson in Dennis the Menace.
There's also the great Michael Constantine as Mr. Seymour Kauffman in "Room 222" from the 1970's, who won an Emmy for the role. He was the guy who sprayed Windex on everything in the Greek Wedding movies,

Although Paxton Whitehead only appears once on Frasier (TV Series) in the episode A Lilith Thanksgiving (1996), his performance is memorable. The Thanksgiving episode is also memorable.

My favorite headmaster is Dr. Campbell (Paxton Whitehead) of Marbury Academy from Frasier (TV Series) - A Lilith Thanksgiving (1996). Sadly there are no pictures of him.
