@BonaFideBOSS

Jen is/was a member of Beta42? I was a little nosy. The internet says it's something about curing the Alzheimer disease. I guess I'm totally wrong. Doctor Google isn't always right.

Great numerological idea.

P.S.: And I thought the number 23 was special.

What do they do? I never heard of Beta42 before. Researchers? If I'm too nosy, just don't answere.

@Breumaster I suspect beta testing on new IMDb features (or at least the IMDb Poll).

Maybe I missed it, but you could mention the hit stage musical 42nd Street, which was named after the 1930's musical of the same title.  Jerry Orbach was in the original cast on Broadway.

Also, Bill Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I added Bill Clinton, but I think it's enough with option #17 which mentions 42nd Street in New York.

@Jessica ,

My vote:

The book 'Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll contained exactly 42 illustrations. The author also frequently used of the number 42 in the text.

Lewis Carroll (AKA Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) was a mathematician, who incorporated puzzles and games of logic in 'Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking-Glass'.

I highly recommend 'The Annotated Alice' by Lewis Carroll (Author), Martin Gardner (Editor), John Tenniel (Illustrator).

'A landmark, bringing together a lifetime's work on Lewis Carroll by writer and mathematician Martin Gardner. He dazzles on Carroll's puzzles and games of logic and entertains on everything from Alice's influence on the Beat poet Jack Kerouac to how mercury in hat linings turned hatters mad...it is unsurpassed' - Jackie Wullschlager, "Financial Times". 'The indispensable guide to a classic of English literature...no one who has ever wondered about the meaning of 'Jabberwocky' should fail to include on their Christmas list' - Robert McCrum, "Observer".

@Tsarstepan I did not delete it, but it is labeled PRIVATE.

It wasn't me who set that to the post...

@mariojacobs and @Tsarstepan,

Having a post marked Private is something new. This is the third post I've heard about that has been marked Private. Sprinklr and IMDb staff have not shared anything about this feature.

@mariojacobs and @Jessica,

We do not know why Mario's post was marked private. We also do not know whether this was done by IMDb / Sprinklr staff or by an automated process.

Regardless, re-posting the same content with active links could lead to the posts being marked PRIVATE again. It is probably sufficient to see images of the posts.

I suspect forces from other countries. My apps in Amazon devices are sometimes set to cyrillic lettering, especially the news pages like in the ARD (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) app. I surely didn't change that.
