He did a great job as the host of The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards (TV Special) and the host of The 39th Annual Kennedy Center Honors (TV Special).

Good poll and tough choice. I love Sarah Silverman but I'm not sure I can picture her for that so I'll go with someone else. He's not the only one but I'd love to see how Conan would do.

Oscar Isaac... just for the fun of it, having for once an Oscar host named Oscar... (Rossum for the Emmys and Danza for the Tony Awards would be awesome too)

ABC will probably first try and hire someone directly associated with the network, such as Jimmy Kimmel. ABC plugs ABC, just as CBS, Fox, and NBC plug their own network, when they spent a great deal of money to televise a special whose ratings they hope will be high.It's been a long time since Bob Hope (NBC), Johnny Carson (NBC), or David Letterman (CBS) hosted the ABC Academy Awards. Bob Hope and Johnny Carson were giant entertainment icons when they hosted the Oscars, and David Letterman was very popular when he hosted the show, (not that well either). How I met your mother had to end it's CBS run, before Neil Patrick Harris finally hosted the awards program.
In house hiring will almost certainly be their first choice. Why should ABC be any different from CBS, Fox, or NBC in wanting to hire someone from their network in hosting a special program?

But if they wanted Kimmel to host again they could have announced it a long time ago. Last year, they announced Kimmel as host in May.

I started this suggestion after I saw speculation about why they hadn't announced a host yet.

Kevin Hart will be hosting the Academy Awards. ABC did not hire an host from one of the shows they televise, however, he is not really associated with one of the other TV networks either. His most recent TV series was TKO:  Total Knock Out, which ran on CBS from July to September 2018 and was not renewed.
Congratulation on getting the gig. I hope he's funny and has some good jokes.
