TheMovieSmith,

For your consideration:
Silent Night (German: Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht) by Bing Crosby
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001078/mediaviewer/rm1448972032
composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber
https://www.discogs.com/Bing-Crosby-White-Christmas-Silent-Night/release/9518936
https://www.amazon.com/White-Christmas-Bing-Crosby/dp/B000002QWD

I prefer the original German language version with guitar accompaniment. I like the simplicity of the lyrics and melody, and that most people can sing this song.

Your choice, is one of my all time favorites:
"The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)" by Nat "King" Cole

Which one do you want to include as your choice on the list? And do you have a particular picture you want me to use?

"Silent Night" is so beautiful. Along with "Little Drummer Boy," it's my favorite. Sinead O'Connor does a hauntingly lovely performance of it.

I will nominate Adam Sandler's The Chanukah Song from SNL and Eight Crazy Nights fame. It is on the movie's soundtrack if you need a title.  Not necessarily my favorite, but feel it deserves to be in the mix.

No, there are some Christmas-themed ones in the movies gallery, as well as some heart-warming family scenes. I like these three the best: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0271263/mediaviewer/rm3123419136, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0271263/mediaviewer/rm2536216576 and https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0271263/mediaviewer/rm1693998080.

Little Drummer Boy

(There have been so many different performances: Tori Amos, David Bowie and Bing Crosby together, the version from the TV special/movie...)

Hmmm, they're all different and I like them all so I guess it doesn't matter. Maybe whichever one has the image that you like the most. Thanks for asking, though. :)

Suggestions still needed?

"Christmas Star" by John Williams from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) (you may use score or soundtrack cover for picture, it was featured on both; alternatively Williams's portrait).

Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody.

The gallery has good images of the band, maybe this one is the best but choose what you like :) -

(By the way, as a little kid I was crazy about a Christmas song whose lyrics don't make much sense in any language - Eine Muh, eine Mäh)

That German song was rather cute. :)

Something went wrong in the linking process, when I was editing the text the first link went to second video, now it's the other way round.

I had this version in my mind for the strange German song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SewPFvBMbZ4
