This is a melancholy day for all the friends of Friends (1994) as the sad passing of Matthew Perry shook a community of fans that transcend generations.

The show ended almost 20 years ago but its legacy is intact, its influence undeniable and its sense of comedic timing hardly equaled. And it's fair to say that the lion-share of the laughs was provided by one particular friend.

Joey was goofy, Ross was awkward but Chandler was... well, call it wit, sarcasm, deadpan, tongue-in-cheek or self-derision but whatever defined his humor was so unique and bizarre that any TV character can be as funny as Chandler but no character will ever be funny the way he was.

I have no pretension of competting with the show's writers of course, if any of the jokes fall a little flat or if you have better phrasing to suggest, please do so...

I'd ratier have 15 strong options than 30 with too many obscure ones...

Found a typo:

when some iconic American movie quotes were delivered...

And maybe you can add a space between the quote and the response:

"You don't understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I could've been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am."

"Could you be anymore self-critical?"
