I wouldn't consider 2,4,6,16, or 20 pigtails. Pigtails is plural; ponytail is singular. According to Oscar Bond, master hair stylist who I used to work for from time to time, pigtails are definitely two: I know because my hair was long enough that he could make me wear them, lol. How embarrassing then and how embarrassing now; I thought once I turned ten or eleven, I'd never have to wear them again.

As Ruby said above, a pigtail most commonly refers to two braids on opposite sides of the head, which disqualifies the five options she mentioned. And Juliet should also be removed.

Pigtails can be braided or unbraided, but are usually two. A ponytail is always a single ponytail. So the title should be: Characters With Pigtails

But there are no ponytails in your list, so the word shouldn't be in the title.

Juliet needs to be removed as she is not wearing a pigtail or a braid.

If you want to keep the characters with only one braid, I'd suggest changing the title to: Characters With Pigtails / Braids
