Where does it stand? That can't be, is it? If that really happens, polls are done, somehow. It doesn't make sense, then.

Both the IMDb staff and BonaFide are aware of the situation. So ideally it should be solved eventually.

IMDb has become less and less of a useful resource over the past several years. If IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT! Also, I don't know where they found their back and front-end developers, BONAFIDE (whom I believe is still in University) has created a site with more consistent functionality, aesthetically pleasing and in line with industry best UX practices than IMDb itself.

IMDb only cares about mobile users. They are interested in consumers, not creators.

Mario, we are from one of the last generations that did not know cell phones from beginning. I was a young adult as they opened a market for - as we call them - handies - in Germany. When I was a kid, there were no cell phones for everyone. At the utmost such bones like that one Michael Douglas had in Wall Street. Car phones were pure luxury in Germany. And the communicators in Star Trek were science fiction bu..sh.. in that times. ;) And now there rise generations that don't know a time without hanging around with the cell phone in their hands less than 7 hours a day. :(

I guess they learn how to care for old people in a game app, where you make two clicks and the 240 pounds granny is properly washed. Like one of these dumb farm games for no-b.r.a.i.n.e.r.s! Those apps where you do two clicks for harvesting a whole field of crops. World goes down. (People like BB excluded. It talk about a broad mass of young people with practical no bonds to the "old world" we were raised in. But with exceptions. A few of them are not bad, even good.)

They don't care about poll voters, either. There are almost 14,000 polls, I guess, and the Poll Taker badge freezes at 5,000 polls. Zero interest in motivating people to vote. I pointed this out 6 months ago, but nobody gives a damn. @Aris_Athanas, @BonaFideBOSS and the IMDb Poll Admins are working with the IMDb staff supporting the Redesigned IMDb Polls to make certain he can get the information from the new design. We do not have an estimate as to when that will occur.

A minor issue that I notice on the site in July is that some of the featured polls were counted as featured twice even though they were only featured for one week. It says "Yes (2)" in the list. This applies at least to my poll "Best Movies of the 21st Century" and Kirk-Picard's "Cinematic Marathons - IMDb Top 250 Films With Longest Runtimes".

@peter Thanks for pointing out this issue. Tbh, Idk the cause of this issue. The only possible reason I could think of is IMDb switching featured polls in a single day (for eg, remove poll-1, add poll-2, remove poll-2 and add poll-1 back) (IMDb has done this before). I've the updated the site to log feature history so whenever a new feature is added, it will save the date and time.

I looked at my stats, as of today from a couple different angles, and I didn't find any issues with my data. So, it looks like you have fixed the issue.

@Pencho15, The IMDb Polls are a 24/7/365 effort; it's easy to blank out. I've done so a few times myself. We are also at the mercy of our ISPs and power companies. Thank goodness Jess and Peter are part of the volunteer IMDb Poll Admin team. Our continued efforts to review polls and to publish polls daily would be difficult and probably impossible without their continued outstanding great work. Thank you, Jess, Peter, Pencho, and Sara.
