Maybe something like this, will have the W.S. roles most people remember him for and be more accurate that it is only a portion of his "body of work". You could use the term, Showdown or another term, instead of Face-Off, if you want.

@riverotter​ I would pick the amount that you think are viable or notable enough to be included. But, another way your simple question could be read is pick your favorite Woody Strode role, but you can't choose from 95% of his filmography, which is what is what is implied with the broad question and limited answer options.

Personally, I think that a realistic number is somewhere between five and twelve notable roles for him. I also think a poll with twenty-five or so options is justifiable. But, if you are going to cap it at five, I would call it at face-off, because as Pencho notes, you are limiting it to only about 5% of the roles he has ever played. Plus, I think it would be more accurate and allow for an expanded option poll down the road with out confusion.

I think the only other not-lisited movie roles that I feel personally really strong about are his roles in Pork Chop Hill, Two Rode Together, and his smaller parts in big budget wide releases, like the Quick and the Dead, The Cotton Club, The Ten Commandments and The Black Stallion Returns (you may have different ones).

For your information, he also had a dozen or more notable guest star appearances on some of the most popular TV series of the day (including as Grand Mogul (a villaneous henchman) in the original Batman TV series) too.
