Mohammadi is the fifth Peace laureate in history to get the prize while in prison or house arrest.

Interesting poll. I did not realize that these Nobel Peace Prize winners were listed. Sadly, only Aung San Suu Kyi has an image.

@dan_dassow Indeed, I considered using an image instead of a person list, but I felt it was important to link to the Nobel winners themselves, and since they were all available I did it that way. Hopefully they'll have images available in the future.

I originally thought that Nelson R. Mandela would be eligible for you poll. However, he received the Nobel Peace Prize after he was release for prison. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 1993 to Nelson R. Mandela and Frederik Willem de Klerk.

Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi won the Nobel Peace Prize

#2: Iranian human rights activist, she was arrested in 2016 after running a human rights campaign to abolish the death penalty in her country and she has also fought against the oppression of women in Iran. From prison she has reported the sexual and physical abuse faced by women after thousands were arrested during the the Mahsa Amini protests.
