I did an initial screen for production companies that had 2 or more films in the IMDb Top 250. This meant that 38 production companies were initially eligible. I then selected the production companies with the highest rated films. This the distribution of the number of films for the 38 production companies:

This is the last production company in the poll:

Selznick International Pictures

with the film 158. Gone with the Wind (1939)

This meant that these three production companies were excluded:

Summit Entertainment

with the film 162. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)

Buster Keaton Productions

with the film 182. The General (1926)

Svensk Filmindustri (SF)

with the film 183. Wild Strawberries (1957)

Thank you. It was a lot of work, but found the resulting poll and poll results to be rather interesting.
