Babylon 5 has just around 30k. I was always remembered to obey my own rules, which is

compelling for being fair to the other fellows. I must admit that I didn't watch Babylon 5.

Seems like I missed a good show with it. I'll catch up later.

Many of these series has indeed set a standard for their particular genre and audience. I think these will fit your list.

FYC: Narcos (2015), Chernobyl (2019),  Sherlock (2010), Supernatural (2005), Fringe (2008), Black Mirror (2011),  Peaky Blinders (2013) 

Added Chernobyl, Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders, Supernatural and Narcos. I didn't watch Fringe, but from the intro of its site, it reads like an expanded X-Files-clone. Thank you for suggesting. 25 is a good count. I'm not looking for more. But if there are even better examples, I would add them.
