Poll Suggestion: Eurovision Song Contest 2026 - The Big Rumble
Intro:
Europe is heading to Vienna for the Eurovision Song Contest Vienna 2026 (2026). Three live shows will decide which song will win the competition and capture the attention of millions of viewers across Europe and beyond. With Semi-Finals determining most of the finalists and automatic qualifiers already set, the excitement is steadily growing. Which of these contestants has the best song, respectively performance? Please discuss it here. The hosts are Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski.
All countries in order of performing (as of 03/02/2026):
First Semi-Final (May 12, 2026): Finland, Georgia, Greece, Croatia, Moldova, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Lithunia, Montenegro, Poland, San Marino, Serbia
Second Semi-Final (May 14, 2026): Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Romania, Swiss, Czechia, Albania, Australia, Denmark, Latvia, Malta Norway, Ukraine, Cyprus

Because the “Big 5” are only placed in the Grand Final after the semi-finals, they appear at the end of this list. Unfortunately, due to ASCII limitations, some performers and entries could not be written using the characters of their original languages. A particularly clear example is the Danish act (Soren Torpegaard Lund - “For vi gar hjem,” originally: Søren Torpegaard Lund - “Før vi går hjem”). I am unsure whether this should be mentioned in the introduction and, if so, how. If necessary, I can still adjust it, but I would appreciate a review beforehand.
Some acts have not yet been selected or do not yet have confirmed song titles. I will update the list accordingly as soon as that information becomes available. I decided to leave out the slideshow because it is likely that images for some acts will not be available on IMDb. The first semi-final will take place on May 12, 2026. I believe the poll, together with the Face-Off poll, should be published early enough - ideally at the beginning of May.
Since the Eurovision Song Contest is the largest international music festival, I believe it would be in IMDb’s interest to publish it - especially at a time when unity is more important than ever. Thank you in advance.
