@Breumaster ,

For your consideration:

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Either or both:

Fanny Brice, aka Barbara Steisand is on the list now. Thank you for that, Dan.

I'm just undecided, if I should take the original Fanny Brice on the list.

It would be double, somehow?! I'll put her on the list, please tell me how it looks.

Thank you, Dan. :D

Does Fanny Brice have starred in any movie about movies? Broadway is not exact movies, so I'm unsure, if that options is correct.

@Breumaster ,

Placing Fanny Brice, aka Barbara Steisand is on the list is fine.

Please DO NOT put the original Fanny Brice on your list. I mentioned her since you may not have been aware that she was a film star.

The question was, if these movies were about making a movie?

(... and of course if she was the lead then. ...)

If yes, then she would be legit to put her on the list. ;)

I really do not know.

So I keep her of the list, because I don't know either.

Dan, thank you, without your suggestions, my list would look much emptier.

But I think we reached an ammount of options that is very ok for one poll.

By my own experience it can be exhaustingly boring to pick one of 35 options.

Great. Here's another ingenious film for you, maybe the finest ever made, considering your topic: All about Eve

And of course, one of my alltime favorite movies: Perfect Blue

Thank you. I'll put Eve on the list and Bette Davis. I re-considered the choice of mima.

Animated characters is not what I had in mind, because it's more about the acting of the

actresses and with animated characters at least the face expression doesn't count.

But I still take Davis and Baxter. Classic acting in the roles.

The scene with Amelia watching movies is famous, but besides that can it really be considered a film about cinematic fandom?

FYC:

Vicki Lester from the original A Star is Born.

Catrin Cole from Their Finest

Honey Withlock from Cecil B. Demented

Hilary from Empire of Light

Georgia Lorrison from The Bad and the Beautiful

Thank you, Dan. Thank you, Buddies. :D

I've totally lost that from my radar. But it totally fits into these "Oscars touched" times. ;)
