@GabrielFox,

"2022 was a good year for all anime fans around the globe. Check out the best anime movies released in 2022. Which one is your favorite?"

I am unclear on how it was determined that 2022 was a good year for anime fans and how these movies were determined to be the best 2022 released anime movies and who said so. I have a different list that is twice as large, who is right?

Also, this seems like it could be a timely poll suggestion?

According to Japan Wireless Web Magazine, these are the 10 best positions in the world ranking. For all beginners and die-hard fans of anime, here is a list of 10 best anime movies of 2022 including the smash-hits showing from the previous year and the anticipated upcoming films released in 2022. (The list of the best anime movies released in 2022 is sourced from jw-webmagazine.com).  Which one is your favorite?      11 titles

I am confused over the following claims made in your poll suggestion, can you clarify them.

  • The title claims, "Best Anime Movies Released in 2022", but the introduction states these are the best Anime Movies shown in theaters in 2022, but these movies were originally released in 2021 or 2022. So, 2022 Theatrically Shown might be the better phrase.
  • Also, the introduction references "anticipated upcoming films released in 2022", but it is now 2023, so "originally released in 2021 or 2022 and had a theatrical run in 2022" would be the more accurate claim.

@GabrielFox I would have thought you would have tried to take advantage of an transitional sentence like this to make your poll even more urgent.

Since 1975, April 15th has been celebrated internationally as World Anime Day. In celebration of the event:

Which of these top 2022 theatrically shown anime movies is your favorite one?

Suzume was just theatrically released in the US this past weekend. Saw it in IMAX. A 10/10. Haven't seen any of the other major films as I haven't seen their respective anime TV series. I've watched and enjoyed Odd Taxi but don't expect that film to get a theatrical release in the US. AT best, maybe a single day Fathom Event.

I'm working (or contemplating on) several anime centric suggestions. One being a high school politics based question - formed around options from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.

@Tsarstepan

Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a great anime. Comedy, romance, drama and friendship perfectly structured, intertwined and told.

I enjoyed the first and second season. Soon I will see the third season.

In case you are interested, there are 2 live action movies of this anime series. I did not see them nor do I intend to see them. The anime experience is more than enough for me.

I finished the third season a couple of weeks ago on Crunchyroll. Then was kind of confused when there were a half dozen more episodes in queue. Which I suspect was the recent Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends movie broken up into several episodes. If I finished season three on time of its initial release, I definitely would have seen the movie when it was in its limited theatrical run. TBH: if I'm correct, you didn't miss anything from a theatrical perspective. Watching the last episodes was fine on TV.

Thanks for the information.

I'll try to see the third season and the movie as soon as possible.
