Happy 38th birthday, ElMo.

Sigh, I'm old enough to be your father and Nia's grandfather. I am older than Ed, but younger than Angela Merkel and J. Michael Straczynski.

Oswald,

May your grandmother's health improve and may she live healthy for many more years.

My father's mother lived until 106 missing her 107th by only two weeks. She was active, healthy and mentally sound until a few weeks before her death.

As you know I am also from 1982.

2020 is not my best year. (Is it anyone's?) I had a dumb accident this summer. My best advice is: Don't have any dumb accidents.

I think I understand what you mean... sometimes my regular accidents are dumber than the dumb ones... that's telling you...

2020 was weird for me as well...

But all jokes aside, how serious is it?

Accidents don't happen to people who take accidents as a personal insult.

Thats from the Godfather novel, right? Michael's monologue after Tom tells him not to take the Captain's slap personally.

Congratulation ElMo.

I'm five years younger than you

I have seen 12 1982 films, and just to avoid repeating Blade Runner I'll mention The King of Comedy.

I'm hoping I have fullfilled some long pursued profesional achievements by your age, otherwise I'll guess I'll be doing any work that's good enough and finding new goals.

Seems like how I felt 5 years ago and how I feel exactly now... still so many unfulfilled goals I feel like life is moving faster and fastser before I can achieve one.

Happy Birthday Elmu!

I'll be 29 on October 1.

My favorite 1982's movie is 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial'.

About feeling of being 38, I would say, let's concentrate on present, shall we? For me it's still 9 years to go.

You're right... focus on the present... that said, you won't believe how fast the thirties fly once they start
.. enjoy your remaining twenties lol

Happy Birthday Elmo and also Bonafide. Since Blade Runner and The King of Comedy have been mentioned, I'll go with The Verdict as my favorite.

And to answer the third question: There are still 11 years to go but it can only go uphill from where I'm at now. Or so I hope.

Happy birthday Elmo.

E.T. is my favorite film from 1982.

I'm nine years younger than you, and I try not to think too far ahead, but let's just say... I hope the future will be better than the present.

By the way, did you ever meet that dream girl of yours again? :)

Happy birthday Elmo.

My pick from 1982 is The Thing and not because other choices are picked.

Happy birthday!!
My favorite 1982 movie is The Thing.
I'm 40.
To me, 38 or 39 felt okay. 40 feels a little bit different.
From 'young' to middle aged.
