Not very popular, but no reason not to have a complete poll.

@mariojacobs ,

"Stranger Things" and "The Famous Jett Jackson" are television series. I recommend that you change the question from:

Which is your favorite feature directed by Shawn Levy?

To:

Which is your favorite feature or series directed by Shawn Levy?

Alternately, you could remove the two series from your poll suggestion. However, updating the question would be preferable.

@dan_dassow I disagree.

Shawn Levy only directed a couple episodes of those series. If Mario is going to include the series, he should but the single episode title, not the entire series or at least some type of note. Plus, he would need to include the episodes from "All the Light We Cannot See", another TV series on the list. Otherwise, I think it implies he directed the entire TV series. It would be better to remove the three TV credits and just focus on his feature-length titles only. I think it is cleaner and less confusing.

If he wants to credit his TV career, a TV only directing poll would be the best way to do it. As it stands now, it is like comparing " apples" and "oranges".

@urbanemovies@dan_dassow I added some comments in the introduction text and the number of his directed episodes as notes.

I must confess that I didn't like this new IMDb redesign. For me it is quite annoying to edit old polls.

The new text box reset itself for no reason. It is annoying to sort titles on the list (sliding). It was easier to find images in the old gallery format (now images with different sizes mixed together).

"All the Light We Cannot See" consists of four episodes and Shawn Levy directed all of them.

@mariojacobs It is horrible indeed, but they claim people love it. I still have to see a positive comment about any change.

@Pencho15 does anyone know a way to see images/photos galleries the old way: pages with 50 images, all images the same size (almost thumbnails)?

@mariojacobs It is impossible. I and several other persons complained about it, but @Col_Needham  claims people love the new galleries and that they have increased engagement.

Col_Needham  started a thread based on my complaints to request thumbnail view to galleries again: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/add-a-thumbnail-view-to-image-galleries/66992d1c79828c791e78a14c

Please comment there and vote it up so hopefully someday we can have galleries that are easy to browse once again.

I rarely visit image galleries today as the different size of all images and the infinite scrolling without pagination has turned them into a nightmare.

The problem, I think, is that they are prioritizing their app and the mobile website and they are forcing the things that worked in mobile to desktop users.

Unfortunately what looks good on a phone is terrible on a laptop. But no one seems to care.

@Pencho15 When it takes you twice a long to complete a task or to search for an image than it did before, I would call that "a waste of time". But, IMDb views that you spending twice as much effort than it took before as a positive. IMHO, instead of calling it what it is, they decided to label it or view it as "increased engagement".

I would agree with your assessment that they are focused on mobile and could care less about functionality on laptops. I would also hazard a guess that they are willing to sacrifice customers on laptops for the growth they project on mobile devices. They probably see it as the future of computing and how people are or will be accessing their website.

@urbanemovies Indeed, two metrics usually used for "engagement" are time spend on a page and scrolling. The changes in the image galleries cause both metrics to go up in both accounts. None of those metrics means people are happy with them or that they improved the experience in any way.
