I thought there was an anti-cat narrative out there that needed to be countered that ranged from cat-eating immigrants to childless cat ladies to banning litter boxes in schools that is being pushed by one party that seemed to frame cats in a poor light or at least negatively.

I considered Kedi as an option, but I tried to limit cats with white patches or white socks from the list, and although I did not mentioned it keep the list limited to fictitious cat characters too.

If you want to do your own version, October 29th is National Cat Day in the the US.

@urbanemovies I like this poll even more now that you explained that you're also trying to counter the anti-cat narrative that's coming from one the the American political parties. Bravo!

Sadly, Black cats have been associated with witchcraft and have been killed over the years by zealots over the years.
