FAQ: Polls for 2021 BAFTA Film Awards

Part 1

The 74th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, will be held on 11 April 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, honouring the best national and foreign films of 2020. The nominations are scheduled to be announced on 9 March 2021.

Format of the Polls
Title: BAFTA 2021 — [Name of the Category]
Description: Which of the nominees of the 2021 BAFTA Film Award for [Name of the Category] do you think should win?

This should say "BAFTA Film Award" if it refers to a single award. Most contributors have used the plural form "BAFTA Film Awards", which is also acceptable when referring to the ceremony.

Please initially limit your poll suggestions to one category in part 2 and one category in part 3 to allow other poll authors the chance to suggest BAFTA 2021 related polls. If someone has not created a poll for a category after one week after the announcement, that category is open to everyone.

Award polls, such as the BAFTA 2021 polls, are a good opportunity for new authors to learn how to create, suggest and mature polls. When a new author suggests the same poll as an established poll author, we will give consideration to the new author and ask the established author to defer to the new author. We will also list both poll pending poll suggestions as appropriate.

Please do not make lists and discussion threads until the nominations are announced?. It needlessly clutters the board, making our jobs as admin a bit harder.

Since the 2021 BAFTA Film Awards significantly overlaps with the 2021 Oscars, it is unlikely that all of the 2021 BAFTA Film Award poll suggestions will go live.

Requests made before the full announcement of the BAFTA nominees will not be honored until after the full announcement is complete. They will be given the same priority as requests made within an hour of the announcement.

1. Reserve polls from Parts 2 and/or Parts 3 via this thread not already requested. I will update the threads accordingly as I see requests.

2. Create a poll following the format that I recommend and post in this thread that you have done so.

Alternately, you can do as BonaFideBOSS did.
