New Emoji and a Useful Shortcut is one of the new features in the Windows 10 fall Creators Update. If Windows key + period is not working, you may try using a semicolon instead of a period.

If the issue still continues, we suggest performing a clean boot. This process is being performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.

We've been having problems with threads disappearing when we update the original post in a thread. In most cases, the threads reappear. However, there is no guarantee that the will reappear. This is very disconcerting.

Going forward, I will only update the original thread when the original author specifically request it.

It is actually listed there as "Game Sponsored by PC World" with the winner Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, which you already have on the list. There may be some inconsistencies with the years.
