@AlbertoMazarro I can't say I agree that the two poll suggestions are "quite similar". The two do share a common scope of focusing on saints and have a couple shared movie options (15%).

Otherwise, the two polls options diverge significantly including but not limited to religious scope (catholic vs. christian), image look (movie posters vs. still frames), theme (iconography vs. actor portrayals), question (iconic imagery vs. divinity), answer pool size (13 options vs. 70 options),  film type (all-inclusive vs. live-action only) and a unisex vs. male/female divided answer pool.

FYC:

Maria Falconetti as Joan of Arc in The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928)

Milla Jovovich as Joan of Arc in Joan of Arc (1999)

@Pencho15, due to fact that are thousands of saints and only 140 answer slots (4x35), each saint is limited to only one representative portrayal per century to display as many as possible (with worthy saints garnering two total portrayals maximum).

Joan of Arc arguebly has a dozen or so more notable portrayals among some of the most watched saintly movies made and probably has a quarter of the top of mind saint film portrayals. This forces those who want to vote for Maria Falconetti as Joan of Arc in The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) & Milla Jovovich as Joan of Arc in Joan of Arc (1999)  to vote for that century's Joan of Arc representative with Ingrid Bergman as Joan of Arc (Saint) in 'Joan of Arc' (1948) being likely the most star-driven and most critically-acclaimed of the bunch, IMHO. I like the two movies you cite and I am aware there are more voted than the 1948 version. I am considering adding a character specific note to each answer option to be even clearer about this even though it mentioned multiple times.

Ingrid Bergman as Joan of Arc (Saint) in 'Joan of Arc' (1948)
(or another 20th century Joan of Arc movie portrayal)

@urbanemovies,

What is the purpose of having a # (hash or number sign) at the beginning of the title?

#Most Divine Christian Male Saint 20th Century Movie Portrayal

This is timely for Holy Week (This week for Western tradition and next week for Orthodox tradition.)

@dan_dassow

I don't see these four saint polls being completed in the next week. I am prioritizing and working on the 2 poll suggestions entitled, Favorite Before Christ Biblical Movie Portrayal. The # is a fail-safe to prevent polls from being published that are not ready and/or have not completed a final fact-check or proof-read (but may look ready with a cursory glance).

UPDATE: These four polls are ready enough to be published.

However, I would publish the "Most Divine Christian Female Saint 20th Century Movie Portrayal" poll last (a couple options could use better images).

Male 21st century:

#2: The ł character may cause an error.

'Karol The Man Who Became the Pope' and 'Karol, un uomo diventato Papa' seems to be the same title in two languages.

#11: The photo is from Passion of the Christ, I believe.

@Peter_pbn & @Jessica Thanks

 I made the two character corrections, swapped the Jim Caveziel image, and updated the Pope John Paul text to "Piotr Adamczyk as Karol Wojtyla aka John Paul the Great (Pope Saint) in 'Karol, The Man Who Became the Pope' (2005) & Karol - The Pope, the Man' (2006)."

I think they used some of same footage and actors to cut both TV movies, but each has a distinct English and Italian titles that are different and a wide gap in running times and differing release dates. They both have their own IMDb pages too.

In #12, perhaps it's best to use the name that she has on IMDb: Nicole Cernat
