I can't change my primary poster

Why is Pete Buttigieg Credited as a Producer on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
I recently saw the clip from the program where Pete was a substitute host and in which he played a contestant against Sir Patrick Stewart in a sketch with Levar Burton. Since Pete was a guest host, why is he not listed as self and is instead listed as a producer?
