Should a Narrator be credited as Cast or Self? I have seen both, so does IMDB have a preference?

I came across this page (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt28379987) and I believe that it simply refers to an Audio book (https://www.amazon.ca/The-Satanic-Verses/dp/B0719FRVMV). I'm just not sure if audiobooks would qualify for being listed on a film database.

I thought that what episode migrate is, where you can move all one episode credits, to another one, but i still don't know what it is or how it works. Recently an imdb employee made a number of alterations to my profile, one of which was the deletion of a credit because it did not display the '(uncredited)' attribute. I was then informed by this person that I could apply to have the credit put back on my profile, provided I add the '(uncredited)'

I had been going thru real pain to update the Release date for the TV Series "Patel Motel".
