This user had a thread here inquiring if he was blocked because his reviews were not being approved anymore: https://www.imdb.com/user/ur163757445/ @ACT_1 pointed out the incredible number of 3,242 reviews posted in just one month. And then I said these reviews look like all generated by AI/GPT.

Last night I watched a movie right after it came to Amazon Prime in the UK. I checked the IMDb score and it was >9, which was suspicious, but I guess it had only been shown to friends and festival audiences... Overnight the score has dropped to less than 5. I wonder if the IMDb algorithm is broke

Does modifying an existing review change or undo its existing helpful status on IMDb? I have not completely rewritten the review but simply corrected something.

Within Seconds (2023) - IMDb This Malaylam film nearly has all 10/10 reviews on the same day, and a lot of the reviews have [insert screenwriters name] in them, citing that most of these reviews are AI generated. IMDB needs to find a way to crack down on these kind of reviews.

I’ve reported about 50 reviews on one title that break all sorts of rules for profanities, drawing comparisons to real world events (such as terrorism and war) and for blatent sexism and racism. I know mods are busy but many of these reviews should not have been approved in the first place.
