@Michelle and @Jessica,

I just noticed that text formatting and some of Sprinklr's other functionality had returned. Let's hope that it remains unlike last time.

Hi, @Michelle:

Taking advantage of my first post to test the changes, I am reporting/confirming some bugs (some of them already reported above):

  1. Some spaces between different paragraphs are removed.
  2. The appearance of the message in the “Preview” does not exactly match the final published version; e.g., the order numbers in the bulleted list were correctly aligned before posting (previously we could use the Preformatted style to ensure a monospaced font).
  3. If I try to modify the post once it has been published (using the Edit button), all the content of the message in the “Description” box is completely deleted and I have to start over.

Note: I'm on Firefox 145.0.1 x64.

Hi ljdoncel -

I appreciate you testing and confirming the details/issues.  I have passed these along to Sprinklr tech team to help with their investigation.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Thank you very much, Michelle, as usual.

I would like to add to the list of reports that it seems that some image proportions are not allowed. In particular, whenever I try to attach an image whose dimensions exceed the 1:10 ratio (either horizontally or vertically), the following message appears:

In fact, to screencap the aforementioned error message, I had to expand the capture area above and below because if I limited myself to the red oval rectangle, it was impossible to upload the photo.

Thanks ljdoncel, I will have Sprinklr tech take a look at this issue as well.

And yet another problem. It seems that it is not possible to upload images whose file name contains square brackets (e.g. thehost[2013].png). I always get the same error message.

Michelle, I wonder if you're guys can't test the design before giving it online. Or was it an accident? When I see things like that I'm always thinking: "Could that have been an attack from s'nituP guys?"

Hi Michelle,I’ve noticed a bug where, when I try to edit a previously posted thread, the description gets wiped out. This seems to be related to caching, or rendering issues. Could you please flag this to the Sprinklr tech team?

Thank you!

Hi KirkPicard -  Apologies for the late response.  We are aware of this editing bug and Sprinklr tech is working on resolving it.  Once I have confirmation of the fix I will update you here!

I've just posted a question (about the order of departments on a title's Update page) and noticed a couple of typos. But when I pressed the Edit button to go back and correct them, I was presented with a form which contained the thread's title but had no text in the Description field. I think something may have been flashed up very briefly as the page was being rendered.This looks like a bug. It's certainly not ok going on like that:

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdb-poll/live-poll-the-seven-heavenly-virtues-the-seven-deadly-sins-after-your-confession/68a2415129ac6940aa5fa3e3

I'll keep away until you fixed it. If a poll gets online, I see no necessity to do the "Live Poll: ..." thing and praise and so on. .... till then, guys!

@Michelle,

  1. This is a test to see whether I can edit a post after I posted it.
  2. Yeah! The original post did not disappear when I edited it.
  3. However, Sprinklr is still removing white space.
  4. I am using number bullet points to get around this issue.
  5. Thank you for your continued help in resolving the problems with Sprinklr.

@dan_dassow - Thanks for testing and confirming!  I will check on the status of the white-space issue.  In the meantime, I'm glad editing functioned correctly for you!

@Michelle,

  1. Thank you for checking on the white space issue.
  2. We have been publishing FAQ for major film and television awards such as the 2026 Golden Globe Awards: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdb-poll/faq-polls-for-2026-golden-globe-awards-please-add-suggestions-here/6938acfda428c578950efda9
  3. We've depended upon being able to edit posts in this and similar FAQs to be essential.
  4. Likewise, having white space removed is a major hurdle in maintaining these kind of FAQs.
  5. When the white space issue is resolve I will do a further review of current Sprinklr functionality and problems.

Hi @Michelle,

1️⃣ I want know the reasons why my messages, which include the links to production company's site listed on IMDb, as well as screenshots of IMDb pages from the Internet Archive, have being hidden to "Private" from live conversations about IMDb problems.

2️⃣ Also I need to know whom and where can we address the demands to examine and eliminate such restrictions, while the related conversation is ongoing.

3️⃣ If the above mentioned restrictions can not be reported, I would also like to know why IMDb team did not make it understood to the users of IMDb Sprinklr that their good-minded messages go under the risk of time wasting and loosing of actuality when published with links and/or images.

Thanks in advance

Col Needham said, "all posts containing images are now initially and automatically marked private as a spam protection measure by the system. The Sprinklr team will manually flip them to public when they next pass through a thread ..."

I attempted to edit one of my comments to make a URL live:

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/i-need-to-know/i-am-trying-to-locate-a-documentary-film-made-in-the-late-1960s/68d10bbff38d6a1be8f9054a

However, editing the comment resulted in a bunch of HTML tags showing up (like <p>) instead of actually marking up the comment as I had hoped for.

Can this be fixed?

@gromit82 ,

  1. I've seen HTML markup tags being inserted for posts from a number of the poll authors. I've found if I quote the text in another post that the HTML tags are properly rendered.
  2. When I come across this again, I will post a link to the specific thread.
