Thirteenth Anniversary of the IMDb Poll
Friday, 4-September-2026 marks the 13th anniversary of the IMDb Polls. 🎉
Thank you to the more than 520 authors with published polls and more than 1000 people who suggested polls. This achievement is due to their creativity and effort of the thousands of IMDb users who vote in these polls. Thank you to all the poll board members, current and former.
Thank you Col Needham for trusting the IMDb user community to run the poll on a day to day basis.

Happy Birtday to Us, Happy Birthday to Us! Happy Birthday, dear Poll-ies, Happy Birthday to Us!
I had my first successful idea launched on Friday, January 12th, 2018 - after pulling out a huge ammont of totally ridiculous BS English. But I was proud as hell. That was on 2018/02/04, a Sunday. So I had the full day time to enjoy myself. :D
Since then I had fever in it and tried harder and harder. I was like addicted. Went through a journey of orientation in a forrest full of mirrors. I learned ... sometimes hard. Finding the right words is often still difficult for me, but I do with all options I can reach. A master of improvisation, not only a Breu ... errr ... Bro. :D With a little help of my friends:

So I'm active since close to eight and a half years. I'm user on IMDb since about September 2012. Breuwife even earlier. But she supports me in nearly each poll, gives many ideasl and even though she isn't on the pollboard, she knows my "yays" and "f*cks" with it. ;)
