Hi Ethan,

Before I was a poll admin and therefore didn't know all of the considerations of poll choices, I had a poll that went live after two years (and it was a fairly popular Quentin Tarantino poll) and I had several that waited several months and even a year or so. There were more regularly active poll authors then so polls these days usually don't wait nearly as long but some very old polls (over two years old) still go live occasionally and sometimes a poll is deliberately held if it would be very timely for something a ways off. That's not the case with this one but recently there have been a lot of Oscar polls, for example, that had to go live while they were still relevant. If you want to know more, let me know, but you've had several polls go live recently so you can rest assured that your polls are well liked and always considered.  : )
