The United States Army celebrates its 249th birthday in 2024 from the date of it forerunners establishment as the Continental Army in the American Revolution.

(June 14th is a Face-Off  Friday, so maybe June 13th or June 15th make sense.}

The Men Who Stare at Goats is based on a non-fiction book.

@Peter_pbn Yes, but the screenplay is fictionalized, which is what I care about in the end. I thought the rule was a good idea, but I thought it was a generally a fair way to classify the movies. I can't see myself classifying the movie as a "true story" or real-life / non-fiction story. In the end, I have to make a call, and this seems to be the exception. I just removed the stated criteria to avoid any issues, even though I will use it as a guideline.

* movies can be set during real historical events, but cannot be adapted from a memoir, a biography, a non-fiction novel or be from an original "true story" screenplay
