@ethan,
#4 MGM Executives Thought Judy Garland was Fat and Gave her a Diet of Soup, Cigarettes and Black Coffee
and
#7 Judy Garland Became Addicted to "Pep Pills" while filming
https://www.biography.com/news/judy-garland-troubles-from-the-end-of-the-rainbow-20860565
Concerned about her weight, the studio demanded that she take "pep pills" to suppress her appetite and keep up her energy. Then, at the end of each shooting day, they'd supply all the child stars with sleeping pills. When Garland was cast in The Wizard of Oz, her weight drew constant criticism from Louis B.
Garland played opposite Mickey Rooney in a string of films for MGM, including Babes in Arms and Love Finds Andy Hardy. Mayer and other studio executives. Her insecurities about her weight combined with her grueling work schedule resulted in her taking even more pills. Garland's steady diet of amphetamines and barbiturates slimmed her physique and enabled her to get through shooting. After The Wizard of Oz, Garland won a special Academy Award for her performance. The Wizard of Oz became her crowning achievement and it immediately made her a Hollywood icon. Unfortunately, it also left her dependent on drugs, which affected her health and her career for the rest of her life.

#8 Judy Garland was Molested by Some of the Munchkins
We need to be careful about stating as fact something that has been alleged but not proven. Although one of Judy Garland's former husbands stated this as fact, the actors playing some of the Munchkins denied this ever happened.
https://people.com/celebrity/teenage-judy-garland-was-repeatedly-molested-by-munchkins-on-set-of-wizard-of-oz-says-her-ex-husband/
... A new memoir by Judy Garland’s ex-husband claims the Dorothy actress was repeatedly molested by some of the actors who played the Munchkins in the classic musical.
Sid Luft, who was married to Garland from 1952-1965, described the alleged abuse in a new, posthumous memoir, Judy and I: My Life with Judy Garland.
... Many of the Munchkin actors have denied the claims, arguing that they worked hard for little pay. Munchkin actress Margaret Pellegrini told The Independent in 2009, “There were a lot of them who liked to go out and have a few drinks, but nothing got out of hand. Everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves. There was no rowdiness or anything like that, and those stories are very upsetting.” ...

#3 The Original Tin Man Buddy Ebsen had a Severe Allergic Reaction to the Paint
Buddy Ebsen was effectively poisoned by the aluminum dust.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddy_Ebsen#The_Wizard_of_Oz
... [Ebsen] soon began experiencing body aches, muscle cramps, and shortness of breath, eventually leading to a lengthy hospitalization. Doctors determined that he was suffering a reaction to the aluminum dust used in the Tin Man makeup, and he was forced to leave the production.[7][8] Ebsen recalled in an interview included on the 2005 DVD release of The Wizard of Oz that the MGM studio heads did not believe that he was ill until he was ordered back to the set and was intercepted by an angry nurse.
Ebsen was replaced by Jack Haley, with the makeup quickly changed to a safer aluminum paste. MGM did not publicize the true reason for Ebsen's departure; even Haley was not told until much later. ...
