@Breumaster ,
For your consideration:
Oedipus the King (1968)
This classic (Greek) tale tells how a noble youth accidentally marries his own mother, kills his own father (deliberately) and ends up paying a terrible price for invoking the wrath of the Gods.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oedipus
Oedipus (UK: /ˈiːdɪpəs/, also US: /ˈɛdə-/; Greek: Οἰδίπους "swollen foot") was a mythical Greek king of Thebes. A tragic hero in Greek mythology, Oedipus accidentally fulfilled a prophecy that he would end up killing his father and marrying his mother, thereby bringing disaster to his city and family. ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oedipus#Oedipus_complex
Sigmund Freud used the name "the Oedipus complex" to explain the origin of certain neuroses in childhood. It is defined as a male child's unconscious desire for the exclusive love of his mother. This desire includes jealousy towards the father and the unconscious wish for that parent's death, as well as the unconscious desire for sexual intercourse with the mother. Oedipus himself, as portrayed in the myth, did not have this neurosis – at least, not towards Jocasta, whom he only met as an adult (if anything, such feelings would have been directed at Merope – but there is no hint of that). Freud reasoned that the ancient Greek audience, which heard the story told or saw the plays based on it, did know that Oedipus was actually killing his father and marrying his mother; the story being continually told and played therefore reflected a preoccupation with the theme.[23]
The term oedipism is used in medicine for serious self-inflicted eye injury, an extremely rare form of severe self-harm.

I just skiped the rating barrier, because so many odd mother-son relations many people saw are low-rated.

If you included TV, the obvious is "My Mother, The Car."
I would suggest "The Goonies."

I've yet to see The Book of Henry, but I did see an excerpt that reflects that the mother sits around playing video games while one of her sons manages all taxes and utility bills. Not necessarily all that strange if the paychecks are still addressed to the parent.
O, what about immaculate conception stories? I don't know how decent of a fit those kind are, since the concept may reflect more on the relationship between the father and child, unless the causation involves no male in an way, shape or form. Womb depicts a strange relationship between a woman and the child she birthed.
