Poll Suggestion: Oscar-Winning Supporting Actress From a Biopic

Portraying a real person in a biopic is a challenging feat for actors.  Capturing the essence of a well-known individual requires immense skill, and their performance is closely scrutinized by both film fans and readers of the biopic's source material. Success in this role can bring great rewards, including the coveted Oscar statuette.

Thinking about actresses who won Oscars for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for biopics., who do you think delivered the most stunning performance?

Again, 'really good poll! I'm having a hard time deciding whose performance was most stunning but it's probably between Patty Duke as Helen Keller, Brenda Fricker in 'My Left Foot,' Jolie in 'Girl, Interrupted,' and Lupita Nyong'o in '12 Years A Slave' -- oh, or Allison Janney: I'm so indecisive, lol. I'll probably vote for whichever one of these gets the fewest votes. : )

Most of the intro is written so well: great job! I'd suggest the same small edit toward the end as I did for the male actors. Oh, and the title, perhaps "Oscar-Winning Supporting Actress From a Biopic" is a bit more seamless and easier to read.
