Fred Sexton, an American artist, sculpted the Maltese Falcon statuette prop for the film...

FYI:

Smithsonian: Let's Go to the Movies

https://www.si.edu/spotlight/movies

Arguably the most influential form of popular art in the 20th century, American movies shape how the world sees us and how we see ourselves. The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History is home to an extensive number of objects and images related to film and television history, and we are digitizing more all the time.

The Lockheed SR-71 was a character in the movie

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird

There even was a funny mocking: "... Grandfather Blackbird. ..." (Translated from G's dub.)

@Breumaster,

https://airandspace.si.edu/collection-objects/lockheed-sr-71-blackbird/nasm_A19920072000

The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is on on display in the Boeing Aviation Hangar at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.

https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/198054/lockheed-sr-71a/

It is also on display at National Museum of the United States Air Force.

... and The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Regardless, I do not believe this object fits the spirit of the poll, since the SR-71 is famous in its own right and is not unique to films.

@dan_dassow

I'm sorry to have got that wrong. I thought it just has to be an object in a movie, which is exhibited in the Smithonian. I guess I understand it now. It has to be a piece of movie memorabilia, but nothing else. And it has to be exhibited only in the Smithonian and nowhere else. Did I get it right now?

@ethan, @Breumaster, et al,

Yes, I believe this is the intent of ethan's poll. Otherwise, there are literally thousands of objects that would qualify for the poll.
