Live Poll: Most Iconic Composer of the 21st century
We all have heard a lot of iconic soundtracks and sound themes throughout this century and writing this type of music that just made the movie or tv-series memorable is a rare thing and something extra. But which one of the following composers did the most remarkable performances in your own opinion?

@edwardhedelius1 most of the films you list under John Williams are from 20th Century movies. Since your question is about 21th Century composers, you should probably delete them and add some of his works this century in their place.
Star Wars, Jurasic Park and Indiana Jones are all from the XXTH Century, in case you mean the most recent entries in those franchises, you should probably add the full name of the movies to avoid confussion.

I heard consciously Hans Zimmer for the first time in a Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 2.
Simply amazing:

Another video game music composer worth mentioning is a woman:

Winifred Phillips
Little Big Planet soundtrack for me is spectacular.

@edwardhedelius1 ,
I recommend that you add Up (2009) for Michael Giacchino. He won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score for that film.

"Which is the most iconic ............"
This phrase "most iconic" is not only overused on IMDB, it is also wrong.
Something or someone is either an icon or not. One can't be more or less iconic, any more than something can be more or less unique.
Elvis Presley is an icon, but he is no more or less an icon than Humphrey Bogart. One's opinion doesn't enter into it.
Icon: "very famous or popular, especially being considered to represent particular opinions or a particular time"
Which brings me to my second problem. One cannot ask any individual about someone or somethings iconic status as that status is reflected by popularity and consensus that is already established. It is not up for debate.
'Most memorable', 'favourite', 'best', 'greatest' and many others are all acceptable as they are debatable as a matter of personal opinion.
Great poll tho. :)

Why is Mark Mothersbaugh not on the list of best composers in the 21st century? He's more accomplished than half the other people on the list.
