Which monster horror movie with a rating over 7.0. is your favorite?
The Fly (1986) and Aliens (1986) don't have the Monster Horror genre and should be removed.
Note that some movies only have the Zombie Horror genre, but since that is a subgenre of Monster Horror I think it's OK to keep them.

Thanks, but no need to remove Alien (1979), it does have the Monster Horror genre.

There are more films tagged with monster-horror and at least 60,000 votes (which is the minimum rating you used): https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature&user_rating=7,&num_votes=60000,&genres=horror&keywords=monster%20horror&sort=num_votes,asc

Pitch Black
Little Shop of Horrors
Frankenstein (1931)

That leaves you with 37 options. But if you eliminate those movies that have exactly 7.0 and only leave 7.1 and more you can bring it down again to 30 options.

I came to the poll prepared to vote for the 1933 version of King Kong (7.9 rating) and was surprised to see it missing.
