Live Poll: Highest-Rising Top 250 Films of The Last 10 Years

I know this poll will not settle the debate, but people complain all the time about new blockbusters being bad, sequels being bad, etc. In this list, 8/13 come from established franchises. And, 9/14 made more than 500 millions at the box office (counting Dune 2 because it will surely make more than 500 millions. 

If people think new blockbusters are that bad, they should ponder whether they liked these films or not, then they should pounder if they liked as much films of any other decade lets say the 1980s. I suspect that most people's impression that films have gotten worse is rooted in the fact that they have only watched the older films whose reputations have endured. 

My personal opinion agrees with "Sturgeon's Law", 90% of everything is garbage, it is unavoidable. It is the duty of the viewer to anticipate what he will like and spend his money accordingly. There is no need to whine. You can ensure that the movies you watch are good (about 75% of the time), but you cannot ensure that all movies are good.
