 9000 is a weird number, I would have waited until 10k. but that is just me.

Also, I think that to list the poll categories about franchises like James Bond, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars is too specific.

Personally, I would have voted for "DVD" mainly because I'm doing monthly polls in this one.

I intended to create a category poll for a long time. However, when my database became too big I had to make adjustments that took a lot longer than I expected.

The categories listed are the ones with highest average votes. The 9,000 is simply a convenient milestone. I did not want to wait another 10 months to create this poll.

There are 217 poll categories. I only considered categories with at least 30 entries. The category Drama only has 14 entries.

Perhaps some of the image choices could be improved. Some ideas:

Anticipated: a future release

Oscars: The Oscars

Relationships: Two or more people

ClassicFilms: A classic film

I will try to future refine the images to use more suitable images.
