Mario, this might seem like a picky detail. But, I think you are mixing two different types of masks that cover two different parts of the face. The issue is your question does not match your answer pool as a result. Eye masks cover the middle of your face, while half mask covering the upper half of your face. Besides, being two different types masks, your question is trying to be more accurate by being specific and actually is less accurate since it doesn't match the pool of answers. Plus, are you asking who is my favorite character or which mask is my favorite? The question implies character, but I think the my favorite or coolest mask is a far more interesting question, IMHO.
I would simply option A, rephrase the question to a
? Favorite Character Question
"Which fictional character wearing an eye mask or half mask is your favorite?"
? Coolest Mask Question
Favorite Character Question
"Which eye mask or half mask wearing fictional character sports the coolest mask?"
or option B, split the poll into two or delete either eye or half masks from the answer pool with the remaining options matching the specified masks in the question.
I agree, focusing on the mask rather than on the hero makes the idea more interesting.
I disagree, the eyes belong to the upper half part of the face (being the nose the middle), therefore every eye mask covers the upper part of the face. The point is: the nose and mouth are always free, check the images. Every eye mask is a half mask, not every half mask is an eye mask (if it covers the mouth/chin and leaves nose/eyes free).
@mariojacobs Not all Watchmen wear a half-mask (Rorschach wears a full mask, Silk Spectre and Doctor Manhatan no mask), so you may wish to mention the hero in the image you posted, instead of the group. He is The Comedian.
You might also want to add Nite Owl from the same team.
