There was nothing romantic in either of these series,  They were just comedies about family life with married couples and their children.

@jaf_ismael​   While you may have assumed that this was a runaway for Hanks and Ryan early on, lots of other great pairs are here now.  While I have enjoyed many of them in their pairings, I would probably vote for Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn as they seemed to have a magical chemistry together.  Second place for me would be John Wayne and Maureen O'Hare as they had a long, deep friendship that lasted their whole lives and showed through on the screen.
