Swing Time (1936)

@jaf_ismael   Typo alert!  Your number seven choice lists James and Julie  (again) instead of John and Maureen.

A famous one is Woody Allen and Diane Keaton. Annie Hall, Manhattan, Manhattan Murder Mystery and others. They were in eight movies together, but I don't remember if they played lovers in all of them.

@Pencho15 30 films between Dharmendra and Hema Malini wow ; it deserves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

You have Maureen and John on your list as couple #7 and couple #12.

Pencho lists several good ones in his suggestion.

@TheOldJalapenoman 👍.I thought the competition was between Tom Hanks and Ryan Gosling, but it seems there are a lot of good pairings.

You could also list:

The Blondie series.  Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake played Blondie and Dagwood Bumstead (a married couple) in this series of films.  They also did a radio series as the characters at the same time.  There were 28 films over 12 years.

Blondie (1938)

Blondie Meets the Boss (1939)

Blondie Takes a Vacation (1939)

and 25 other films

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0029927/mediaviewer/rm1724334080/?ref_=ttmi_mi_1_3

Ma and Pa Kettle were played by Marjorie Main and Percy Killbride in ten movies.

The Egg and I (1947)

The Further Adventures of Ma and Pa Kettle (1949) (Sometimes renamed as just Ma and Pa Kettle)

Ma and Pa Kettle Go to Town (1959)

and seven other films

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0039349/mediaviewer/rm589890561/?ref_=ttmi_mi_3_3

There was nothing romantic in either of these series,  They were just comedies about family life with married couples and their children.

@jaf_ismael   While you may have assumed that this was a runaway for Hanks and Ryan early on, lots of other great pairs are here now.  While I have enjoyed many of them in their pairings, I would probably vote for Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn as they seemed to have a magical chemistry together.  Second place for me would be John Wayne and Maureen O'Hare as they had a long, deep friendship that lasted their whole lives and showed through on the screen.

Keanu Reeves' performance in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) is notoriously one of his absolute worst performances ever, and that includes his painful lack of chemistry with Winona Ryder.

He is ranked third so far,  that’s not bad.
