For something like 'Hottest dad currently on TV?', where many of the characters are no longer on TV, would it not be preferable to update it with current dads?

Jen, you have included the vote totals in all of your recast polls. This is something we have decided not to allow. Please see Dan's update here: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/faq-list-of-live-character-based-polls-recast-as-image-based...

It is however okay to have the original date of publication in the poll.

It may be misleading and confusing to voters. It would be okay to have them in the discussion thread, although in your case it's a bit problematic, since all of your polls lead to this single thread.

No, the bartender poll is not live. 

It would be so much easier to keep track of your re-created lists if you had a separate thread for each of them. Two are live already, but you could still make threads for the rest.
