LIVE POLL: World Turtle Day — Movie & Television Turtles

@dan_dassow​ Sorry, Tooter almost made it to the final cutdown, but I changed out fifteen turtle options. Not that I was lacking for options, but I am semi-surprised there are not more animated turtle characters.

For your information, the final episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017) airs this week too. Poll Suggestion: Favorite "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" Character (5/26 Finale).

I understand, but I'm still disappointed that Tooter Turtle, Total Television did not make the cut.

In that case, my updated voted is Touché Turtle, Touché Turtle and Dum Dum.

@dan_dassow​, If it is any consolation he made to the last two cuts and joins thirty-six plus other fictional turtles that did not to make the poll. You could still vote for him in the everything else option, but Touché Turtle is a good alternate choice, IMHO. I am surprised that Disney and Warner Bros. didn't have a film series or TV show with a lead turtle character in the 1940s, 1950s or 1960s, like Tooter or Touché.

Thanks for the website details. I added a hyperlink in the poll introduction to make it easy for poll takers to get more information. Plus, I posted here some basic tips that everyone can do with almost no effort on their part.

I re-pushed the poll to make certain the link is present in the poll.

We have turtles that live in a stream bed in our back yard. When they were young, my daughters would have "pet" turtles when they wandered near our house.

Thanks, for the repush. I feel guilty now, I had a pair of undersized turtles that are outlawed now as a kid. My younger brother had a larger tortoise that he allowed to free roam in an enclosed backyard and somewhat unbelievably it ran away from home never to be seen again. Looking back, I am not sure I understand their appeal as pets. But, I like how your daughters enjoyed their company, while they still lived in their native habitat.
