Live Poll: What Disney Movie Would You Show Walt?

Partly inspired by Breumaster's poll Back to the Ancestors.

Walt Disney passed away 65 years young, and there are many Disney movies he never got the chance to see. He founded Walt Disney Animation Studios with his brother in 1923, and more than fifty years after Walt's death, the studio continues to make movies in his memory.

Imagine you could travel back in time to when Walt was alive and bring one movie to show him. Which of these Disney feature films* released after 1966 would you most want him to see?

*by Walt Disney Animation Studios, with an IMDb rating of at least 6.7, sequels not included

He might like to watch The Jungle Book finished, but it may be more interesting to show him the major achievements of the company, and also films that follow his idea of adapting literature classics.

So Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin or The Lion King would be my choices in that order.

@Breumaster

The movies before the 1990s were drawn and colored by hand, so it took years to make them. I think it was a much slower making of these movies, not like today. So I guess Walt Disney already knew about 'The Jungle Book' and movies which are close in time to it. I think it would be much more tempting to pick a movie which is much more progressive to see his reaction. I would better like to show him movies like 'Coco', 'Encanto', 'Soul' or 'Inside Out'. I even think that 'The Incredibles' would be a very good pick.

I like your thinking, and Pencho's too. :)

I guess it's a very individual question, and there are many things one might take into account.

It's only about Walt Disney Animation Studios, so films like Coco, Soul and Inside Out aren't in the list.

Congratulations! And if he would still live, I'd say Happy Birthday, Walt Disney!
