I haven't seen many but, of the ones I've seen, The Twilight Zone or Hannibal.

This may have a better chance of making the homepage if "tv" is capitalized in the intro.

I like Stranger Things, but it is not horror

1)  "teenager horror" shouldn't be tagged as "horror", usually it is nothing more than sci-fi or fantasy with a bit of softcore thriller.

2) It is a total rip-off of Super 8, and Super 8 is not listed as "horror".

PS: By "It is a total rip-off", I didn't intend to say that Stranger Things is bad.

@cinephile

BTW, If that was my poll, I wouldn't make a list of the highest-rated. Instead, I would have picked the TV series with the highest percentage of "severe" votes in the  Frightening & Intense Scenes part of the Parents Guide

That method would have excluded teenagers tv series.

I don't get how a title can be classified as "horror" without being severely frightening!!

I agree with you, I wouldn't consider it horror, but I'm going by the genre as it is considered by the IMDb, and they have it under the horror genre.

You're idea about Frightening & Intense Scenes is a good one, indeed different criteria makes different polls, with this one I simply wanted to explore the horror series that have been in the top 250 list.
