Tom Clancy's venerable character Jack Ryan been played by four actors in five films since 1990. Now Amazon Studios will be premiering a show starring the character later in 2017. Jack Ryan, a CIA recruit turned US president will be played by John Krasinski.

the obvious choice is harrison ford...baldwin was o.k...but i was one of he few who actually liked ben affleck in the sum of all fears...

chris pine can't act to save his life, and we have to wait to see the new guy...

guess i'll go with affleck, just because everyone will probably go with ford...

Billy Smith, WRONG! I saw both. "The Hunt For Red October" and "Patroit Games" at the theaters. I had even read the book "The Hunt For Red October" ( a great read BTW) . I voted for Ford because he did a better job at playing Jack Ryan. Harrison Ford is a great actor who never fails to turn in a great performance. A true professional. He is the James Stewart of our times. (If truly knew how high I regard James Stewart's acting ability, you will know I just gave Harrison Ford an extremely good comment.)

I just realized I've only seen half of the Jack Ryan incarnations - Baldwin and Ford. I haven't seen Sum of All Fears or Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit.
