Live Poll: Sequels With the Long Gap

Some movie endings leave you wanting for more and then suddenly disappears. Some of them do make a comeback, but after a long period.

Which of these movie sequels was worth the wait the most?

Note: Only feature-length movie sequels with an IMDb ratings of at least 5.0, more than 5,000 votes and at least having 15 years of gap are considered.

Setting a world record for the longest gap between sequels, a total of 64 years, was Bambi and Bambi II (Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest).

@Sharmaji1 that sequel was a direct-to-video movie and not a feature-length. Thus, it is excluded.

I liked the way they brought in the generational aspect of the latest Shaft, and still kept the previous players involved as active characters in the plot
